Athena’s srl, with headquarters in Pianoro (Bologna), was established in 1969 as a company specializing in the production of cosmetic lines for personal care and hygiene.
Operating in the industry for over thirty years, the company has developed business by penetrating leading international markets, including Europe and America, in addition to Russia and Japan. The results achieved both on the home market and abroad from the continuous investments in technological research, quality and service aimed at obtaining the customer’s satisfaction. This philosophy, along with the product’s excellent value for money, make Athena’s a leader in the concept and creation of products marked by innovation, originality and winning aesthetics. Representing the company’s leading strength is the creation and development in synergy with customers of products developed as exclusives, or else personalized or produced as “private labels”. To this end, we offer our creativity, design and experience boasting a high added value. Primary objective is to attain customer satisfaction through a full-service partnership, from the consulting stage to the ideation of exclusive, functional and technological products which are able to stand apart in the increasingly crowded market of cosmetics.

Organization

The company’s production facilities span 5,000 sq. m, with production areas and warehouses flanked by a modern R&D laboratory that can meet any customer requirement in the research and creation of new and personalized products. This capability is attributable to the experience and professionalism of the research staff, combined with a strong component of creativity and scrupulous quality control to ensure constant guarantees. An in-house graphics department studies and creates packaging design and graphics to arrive at an original and highly effective impact. Filling and packaging lines with volumetric control are fully automated and enable a daily production of 25,000 pieces (30,000 pieces for the production of toilet soaps).
Production and warehouse management are backed up by an innovative computer management system that assures traceability of the lots and stock availability in real time.
