CERTIFICATIONS

Athena’s srl is part of the subcontracted manufacturing group of Unipro, the Italian Association of Cosmetic Industries, and has received their Quality Certification of the Reliability Program. The company has also been accredited by the ICEA (Istituto di Certificazione Etica ed Ambientale – Ethic and Environmental Certification Institute) with the certification of BIOECO COSMESI AIAB for the production of bio-ecological cosmetics with low environmental impact. The company benefits from the collaboration of the Department of Cosmetology at the University of Ferrara to perform studies for product evaluation and efficacy, skin and eye tolerability and microbiological control.
Neither the finished product nor the raw materials used to make it were tested on animals.Athena’s is a supporter of Italy’s Anti- Vivisection League.

CO2 emissions derived from the manufacture of this product ( which contribute to the greenhouse effect and global warming ) have been offset by the creation of new forests in Italy, which help protect and revitalise the environment.

It works with Universities and specialised Partners in Life Cycle Assessment for the calculation of the environmental impact. It cooperates with Parks and Reserves for the reforestation and land protection, bios, an EU certified organisation, certifies the entire Zero Impact® chain.
